Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for the detailed explanation — I really appreciate the clarity and the professionalism. I’ve been meaning to get back to you since I received your email in June, and it’s good to know that the process is being handled ethically and with full documentation.
I’ve been working on my schedule lately — just moved into a new apartment in Houston, and it’s been a bit of a transition, but I’m settling in well. The neighborhood is quiet, and I’ve started going to that new coffee shop on the corner. I’ve even begun reading up on estate law a little more, just to be prepared.
I’m writing to confirm: do you need the Acknowledgement Letter to be signed and sent back electronically, or would a scanned copy on a PDF be acceptable? Also, could you please confirm the exact address where the documents will be sent — I want to make sure I’m not missing anything in the delivery details?
Lastly, I’d love to know if there’s any specific format or wording you’d recommend for the letter — for instance, should it include a statement about the inheritance being “recognized under South African probate law” or something similar?
Looking forward to your guidance — I’m really excited about this opportunity.

Hi Barrister Eric,
Thanks so much for the prompt response — I really appreciate it. I’ve been looking at the specimen acknowledgment letter and it all makes sense, especially with the details about the will and the inheritance fund. It’s kind of surreal to think about receiving $2.4 million, but I’m not questioning anything — I’m just trying to get through it the right way.
I’ve been working on a few oil-and-gas cases lately in Houston, and one thing I’ve noticed is how much paperwork gets delayed by small things — like a signature not being in the right place or a missing date. I actually took a moment to check the form and realized it’s asking for a signature in blue ink. I’ve never used blue ink for legal docs before — I always go with black — so I’m wondering if that’s a requirement? Or is it just a suggestion?
Also, just to be thorough, do you have any documentation that confirms Mr. Robinson F. Busby actually passed away in 2019? I know it's part of the probate process, but I’d want to make sure it’s all legit before I sign anything.
And finally — just a quick personal note — I’ve been sitting on the porch at my place in Houston for the past two days, watching the sun set over the bay. It’s been quiet, but I’ve been thinking about how rare it is to have something so big come through. If this is real, I’d love to meet someone who can help me through it — not just a lawyer, but someone who understands what it means.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Danny Smith

Dear Barrister Eric Coetzee (ESQ),
Thanks so much for sending over the Will and probate documents — I really appreciate the care and professionalism shown. I’ve been reviewing them carefully, and it’s quite an honor to be part of this legacy. Honestly, I’m a bit stunned — Mr. Busby had such a strong sense of community service, and I can already see how this money could go toward helping people in need, especially in my neighborhood here in Houston. I’ve got my old neighbor, Mrs. Lee, who’s been struggling with medical bills — she might actually benefit from this.
I’m just going through the Acknowledgement Letter form now, and I wanted to double-check a few things before I sign it. Since the inheritance is being processed through a foreign bank, do you have any advice on the best way to ensure the documents are properly formatted for submission — for example, should the letter be printed on official letterhead or just typed clearly?
Also, is there a specific time frame by which I should send back the signed letter? I’m trying to be careful not to delay things, but I’ve got a few court filings due next week, so I’d hate to miss a deadline.
Lastly, I noticed the bank contact email is [redacted] — is that correct? I’ve never sent anything to that address before, and I just want to make sure it’s legitimate.
Thanks again for your support — I’m genuinely excited about this opportunity.
Warm regards,
Danny Smith
