Hi Eric,
Thanks for getting back to me — I actually just saw your email and was thrilled to hear about this inheritance opportunity. I’ve been meaning to reply, and I’ve been trying to figure out how exactly the Acknowledgement Letter should be formatted. Do you have a template or specific wording you’d recommend for the letter? I’m assuming it should include my full name, address, and date, but I’d like to make sure it’s compliant with the firm’s protocol.
Also, just to confirm — is the US$2.4 million cheque meant to be sent directly to me in the U.S., or will it go through an international courier like DHL/FedEx? I’ve heard that some international mail services have delays, especially when it comes to cashiers’ cheques, and I’ve been trying to track my mail lately — I even got a letter from the Houston Post about a delivery delay at my apartment building. Not sure if that’s relevant, but it’s been on my mind.
Could you clarify if the original will and probate documents will be sent in physical form, or if they’re also available digitally? I’d love to see them, especially if there’s a digital copy I can keep on file.
Looking forward to your guidance — I’m really excited about this!

Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for your prompt reply — I really appreciate the clarity and the detailed instructions. I’ve been meaning to get this sorted, especially since I’ve been thinking about how to properly document everything for my personal records. I just moved into a new apartment in Houston last month, and I’ve been reviewing my mail logs — turns out my building has a new delivery system, and there’s been some confusion with tracking numbers, which made me wonder if international courier delays could be even more unpredictable. That’s why I asked about the physical vs. digital delivery of the will and probate documents — I’d feel more at ease having a secure copy on my laptop, especially since I’m not in South Africa and won’t be able to verify the originals in person.
So, to confirm — are we still on track to receive the physical cheque via DHL or FedEx, or will it be a bank transfer instead? And if the documents are sent physically, will they come in a sealed envelope with tracking, or is there a risk of them being lost during transit? I’ve also heard that some courier services don’t handle cashier’s cheques well — especially with international addresses — so I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.
Lastly, could you please confirm if the Acknowledgement Letter needs to be notarized or signed in a specific way? I’ve been reading up on estate protocols and I don’t want to accidentally make a mistake that could delay things. I’m really excited about this — it feels like a real opportunity to help others, and I’d love to get involved.
Warmly,
Danny Smith
