Thanks so much for reaching out — I actually didn’t realize you’d been in touch before. That’s kind of you, and I appreciate you taking the time to write, especially after all these years. Honestly, it’s a little unexpected, but in a way, it feels like a small, warm moment in a busy day.
I’ve been sitting at my desk this morning trying to figure out what to do with the new oil litigation case involving the Permian Basin lease dispute — it’s been a long week with the court deadline looming, and my printer jammed three times. I was actually wondering if I should just go ahead and send a notice of motion to the registry. But now, with your message, I’m thinking… maybe I should pause and take a breath.
I know you’re a designer — that’s actually really interesting. I’ve been meaning to try out that new ceramic mug from the Texas Artisan Market. I think I’ll go pick one up this weekend if I get a chance.
