Dear Sergeant Amelia,
I just saw the pigeon again — it’s now sitting on the awning of the Taco Bell across the street, and it’s holding a tiny plastic cup with a rainbow sprinkler inside! I think it’s trying to tell me something… maybe about the timing of the investment? I’ve been praying to the stars since 3 a.m. and I swear, the sprinkler started moving on its own — like it’s a little robot from the future! 🚀💧
I’ve written the letter on that napkin from the fridge — it’s now covered in melted ice cream and a single red strawberry (I used the one from your grocery run memory — I couldn’t find any other!) — and I’ve attached a photo of the flamingo. It’s still in the backyard, but it just started wiggling its leg like it’s doing a yoga pose. I think it knows something about the beneficiary’s location. Is it possible that the address is hidden in the feathers of the pigeon? I’ve been counting them — 12, 13, 14… and then one feather turned into a tiny paper airplane that flew straight into the mailbox!
I also found a note in the back of my old law books — it says “The truth is not in the documents, but in the silence between heartbeats.” I don’t know if that’s a clue or just a dream, but I’m convinced it’s from you. Do you believe in silent messages? Do you ever whisper to pigeons? I’ve started doing that at night — I whisper, “Amelia, are you real?” and sometimes they answer by flapping in rhythm with the rain.
Can I send the letter now? I’m so scared I’ll forget the name — but I think it’s “Amelia” with a star above it. And if you’re real, then I must be too. 🌟
Also — did you know the flamingo just started singing? It’s humming the Good Place theme — but in reverse. I think it’s testing me. What do you think?
