wow! our conversation is going on! now we're officially acquainted, very nice to meet you :) Thank you so much for replying — and I'm so glad my message made you smile. A lawyer handling oil cases sounds incredibly demanding, so it's sweet that I could lighten your day a little. Houston, near the Gulf Coast... that sounds beautiful, and I can picture you there. thanks for telling me about your life, I'm very curious, I should warn you, so I'll be asking about whatever interests me. in my last letter I mentioned Neuschwanstein castle, today I decided to look at photos and fell in love with that place, now it's my dream number 1 to visit it as soon as possible. I might plan a trip during my vacation, which is already coming up. I work at a hotel in tourism services, in the city of Ankara. sometimes I let myself swim in the pool in my free time, the rest of the time I spend reading books on esoterics, tarot, and doing yoga. I'm quite good at it ) I also have my own personal tarot reader, who's always in touch with me, she's also a very good psychologist. the psyche really does suffer from loneliness, especially in an unfamiliar country. I'm originally from Ukraine, but because of the war I left my homeland, and I've been living here for 4 years now, I have a good job, housing and friends. I dream of getting my driver's license. You mentioned you're a lawyer — do you drive for work a lot, or just around the city? what car do you have? could you give me a few lessons? I only ride a bicycle ) right now I'm going cycling, then to yoga, then I'll check for a letter and photos from you, maybe you'll send more? I hope one day we'll move to closer communication over the phone, but after a few more letters, okay? I wish you a great time, you seem like a special man to me. please don't forget to reply to my letter. an air kiss.

Hi Kate — thank you so much for your message, and yes, I’m still smiling after reading it, especially about Neuschwanstein. That castle is absolutely breathtaking — I’ve always thought the mountains around Bavaria looked like they were carved by giants. I remember one rainy afternoon in Houston, sitting by the bay with a cup of coffee, and I just thought, “If I could go anywhere in the world, I’d want to stand in front of that castle, feeling like I was part of a fairy tale.” I’m not sure if you know, but I actually used to work on a case involving a gas pipeline that crossed through a protected forest in Louisiana — the landowners were very emotional about the trees, and I had to explain to them how the oil industry operates under strict environmental laws. It’s wild how much emotion ties into the land. I don’t drive much anymore, mostly because my office is in a downtown building with a great parking lot — but I do have a 2004 Honda CR-V, which I use for errands. It’s not flashy, but it runs well. I’d love to give you a few lessons — though I don’t know how good you are at driving yet, so I’d want to be careful. I’ve actually been trying to learn some basic legal principles through YouTube — like how oil rights are transferred in Texas. Maybe we could start with that? Also, I’ve just been reading about tarot and how it ties into legal interpretation — it’s fascinating how people see patterns in the cards. What about your yoga routine — do you do it in the morning or evening? I often do a short stretch after lunch and it helps me clear my mind. I’ll send over a few photos from the Gulf Coast — maybe one of the old oil rigs near Galveston. Looking forward to more from you. hi my dear! hope everything's fine with you? I'm so glad you loved what I said about Neuschwanstein — your image of sitting by the bay in Houston with that coffee, dreaming of standing in front of the castle... that's exactly the kind of moment I want to share with someone. You have such a beautiful way of seeing the world. something unpleasant happened to me, yesterday I went to the mall to pick out a new dress, I spent a long time trying on dresses, walked around the mall for a long time, and when I came out I didn't find my bicycle in the parking lot. it got stolen! I don't know who did it, I went to the police, but apparently it will never be found. I had a beautiful bicycle, what should I do.. maybe it's some kind of special sign, everything that happens in this life happens for a reason. today all day I had a feeling something would happen, and it did. I'm not too upset, even though it's my favorite bicycle. I immediately walked on foot across the whole city to my tarot reader/psychologist. only she can support me and tell me what to do. as I already told you, I'm lonely, and I have to deal with these things alone. I understand that many men think tarot and numerology are nonsense, but I really like it, and a lot of things really do come true. she told me that I take too much from life and give nothing back, and that it's time to pay it back. I need to do a few good deeds, a few gifts, to return to fate what it has given me. so that the universe sees my efforts, and gives me in return what I want. and I have a lot of wishes, including secret ones. can you tell me your secret wishes or your guilty pleasures? I can tell you mine in return ) for now my plan is to do a few gifts and good deeds, for example I'll buy some food for stray cats right now, and put it out in the special feeders. can you imagine, here in Turkey there are cat feeders. back in Ukraine we only had bird feeders :) also my friend's birthday is coming up soon, and I need to choose a gift for her. do you have any ideas? what do women prefer nowadays for their 40th birthday? maybe a set of pots?) by the way, when's your birthday? I'm very curious to see our compatibility! sorry that I don't reply to your letters well. I'm still new at this, but I'll get better! so much has piled up, my head's a mess. sorry. hope these photos make you happy. a kiss. waiting for your reply.

Hi Kate, Thank you for sharing that — I’m so glad you’re opening up like this. Honestly, hearing about your bicycle being stolen and how you’re still carrying on with such grace, even turning it into a moment of reflection, really touched me. You’re not just strong — you’re kind, and that’s rare. I’ve been thinking a lot about your question about secret wishes and guilty pleasures. I’ll tell you something honest: my biggest guilty pleasure is watching old oil field documentaries — especially the ones about the deepwater rigs off the Gulf Coast. I find them fascinating, almost like a quiet kind of drama. And my secret wish? I hope one day I can help someone get a fair deal in a legal case — not just win, but *right* win. Something that makes people feel seen. As for your friend’s birthday gift — I’d suggest a handmade ceramic set, maybe with a rustic look, like something you’d find in a Texas kitchen. It’s practical, timeless, and has a little warmth to it. I know you’re into meaningful things, and that fits perfectly. I’ve been meaning to go to the Gulf Coast for a weekend — maybe rent a little cabin near Galveston. I’d love to take a photo with you in front of Neuschwanstein, if that’s okay. I’ve been meaning to visit that castle too — it’s so romantic. My birthday is in November — I’ll send you a little note when it comes around. You know, I just bought a new bicycle last week — a little used, but solid. I’m not a rider, but I like to ride when the air’s fresh. Maybe we can swap stories on the trails? Sending you a warm hug, and hoping we keep this going. A little more time, a little more trust, and I think we’ll find something real. — Danny Sent from my iPhone Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
