Hi Gerd, Thanks so much for getting back to me — I really appreciate the prompt response. I didn’t mean to be unclear, but I was just trying to confirm the right contact info. You mentioned calling you at your number, and I know you’re in Houston, so I thought maybe we could connect over the phone first to make sure everything lines up before we go further. I’ve been working on a few oil-and-gas cases lately, and I’ve actually been reviewing some of the reports on offshore lease activity — especially in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s been a bit of a mental grind since I moved back to Houston from Corpus Christi last year. The heat here is wild, and the traffic on I-45 during rush hour still makes me want to take a nap in my car. Just to double-check — are you available for a 30-minute call this week? I was thinking maybe Thursday or Friday, around 3 or 4 PM? I’ll need to know your timezone, since I’m on the East Coast and sometimes the timing gets a bit off.
