I remember how that morning light fell just right on the river, like a hand gently brushing the water. I’m still smiling thinking about it.
I’ve been walking near the Trinity River lately, actually — just a few blocks from my office. I found a small river stone today, smooth and slightly curved, like something that’s been shaped by time.
