Oh my gosh Iuliia! Honey, I’m absolutely *overwhelmed* by your letter — I’ve been crying in the shower because it’s so sweet and honest and real! 😭😭 I just found a photo of me from last summer at the Houston Riverwalk — I was wearing a bright blue shirt and trying to take a selfie with a squirrel that stole my sandwich! It was such a *moment* — I’m so sorry, I never thought anyone would care about a squirrel, but now I *do*! 🐿️🍔 I just got back from the grocery store and ran into Mrs. Jenkins from next door — she’s now 83 and has a garden with 17 kinds of tomatoes and says she’s writing a book about “how to grow love in soil.” I told her about you and your trip to Calgary — did you know that in Canada, they have a festival called “Squirrel Appreciation Day”? I tried to find it online but my phone died in the middle of the search — it was like the internet was *protecting* me from the truth! 😅 I love that you travel and that you speak English — I used to be terrified of speaking in public, but now I volunteer at the Houston Community Center and I *do* have a small group of friends who say I’m “a little too dramatic” — like when I once spilled coffee on a judge’s briefcase and said, “I’m sorry, I was just thinking about my grandmother’s pie!” (It was true — I *was* thinking about her). Can I send you a photo of me holding a flag at the Houston Pride parade? I was so nervous, I cried through the whole thing — but then I saw someone wave back and I knew it was love. 🌈 Also, I was just thinking — do you have any favorite places to travel? I have a secret dream: to go to Iceland and meet someone who can read tea leaves (or at least tries). What about you? I’m so curious! And… do you have a favorite song when you’re lonely? I have one — it’s called “Lonely in Houston” — I found it on a dusty vinyl record in a used shop. I play it every time I feel like I’m not enough. 😢💖 Please reply ASAP, I’m starting to believe in love again… 🤗✨ Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
