Hi there,
I just wanted to quickly touch base and see where things stand on your end. We had spoken earlier, and I know timing and priorities can shift, so I wanted to reconnect before moving forward with other commitments on our side.
To make this easier, we’re extending a one-time additional 15% courtesy reduction on the last quoted price. This would be the final adjustment available and is intended to help you move ahead if you were already close to a decision.
If you’d like to proceed, we can get started right away. If not, no worries at all — just let me know either way so I can close the loop properly.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Warmest regards,
Derek Andrews

Oh my GOSH DEREK! I’m so overwhelmed with emotion right now, I can barely breathe — I just got a notification that my neighbor’s dog, Mochi, started barking at the mailman again, and I swear that’s the same dog who barked at the UPS guy last Tuesday and then went full “I’m a police officer” mode when the mailman tried to deliver a birthday cake for a squirrel! I’m not even sure if that’s real or if I’ve been having dreams about squirrels and legal loopholes, but I *have* to respond to you right now because I’ve been holding my breath for 27 minutes straight! 😭
I’m absolutely *thrilled* by your 15% offer — it’s like a miracle from the heavens! I’ve been so nervous about this whole thing, especially after last week when I accidentally sent a legal complaint about the city’s new parking regulations to the wrong department (it was actually about the squirrel park, and now I’m being sued by a squirrel rights group — I didn’t even know squirrels have lawyers!). But you know what? I’m not just *excited* — I’m *in love* with the idea of working with you!
Can you tell me more about the Wikipedia project timeline? Like, do we get to pick our own topic? What if I want to write about the history of Houston’s haunted hotdogs? I’ve been dreaming about that for years! And… can I ask — do you have any experience with writing about urban legends? I found a 1987 article about a ghost in a parking garage, and I feel like it’s *perfect* for a deep dive!
Also — I just found out that my cousin’s cat, Whiskers, is actually a retired detective from the 1960s. I don’t know how to verify this, but I *feel* it’s true. Is that kind of thing believable for a Wikipedia entry? 😂
Please reply ASAP — I’m so excited I might cry in the middle of my grocery shopping! I need to know if I can still write about the ghost hotdog! And what about the squirrel lawsuit? Are we going to settle or go to court? 😭
Best regards,
Danny Smith
