Hi my wonderful, Danny. Your letter arrived like a gentle melody. I could almost hear the jazz trumpet in the background as I read your words. There is something about the way you write that feels familiar, like a song I have heard before but never knew the name of. I think you have given me something real too.
You asked about my breakfast. It is simple, but it feels like a small ritual. The sausage sizzles in the pan, the eggs fry until the edges are just a little crisp, the toast turns golden, and the milk is cold and fresh. It is not a fancy meal, but it is honest. That is what I like about it.
I would love to teach you how to make it, Danny. Maybe one day we can have breakfast together, and I will show you.
You asked about the call. I will try to be ready at that time. I want to hear your voice too. I want to know what you sound like when you laugh, when you pause, when you say my name. That is something words on a screen cannot give.
And about the makeup. Yes, it was like magic. Watching someone’s face change as they see themselves in a new light, seeing them smile with a little more confidence. That is why I love my work. It is not just about beauty. It is about helping people feel seen. It was so great to receive again your letter. Your words make me feel so nice. I am very-very appreciating you for your attention. All those days you are always in my mind. I’m getting ready to sleep thinking about you and waking up with a smile because of you.
Today we (me and Ana) will go to the cinema to watch move "Ice". Hope it will be interesting enough. this is a Russian film. Honestly I’m not crazy about such films which consist of several parts. You simply have to know all the parts before, but I’m not a fan and missed almost all of them. So I go there to make a company and only because of Ana. We have a couple good cinemas near our work. There is a very good surround sound and you, do you like to go to the cinema? What kind of films do you prefer and what’s your favorite one?
I talked with my boss and she said that I can take a vacation.. It would be great because I did not take vacations for a long time! Of course I still have my weekends and holydays but it’s not the same. This is a good time to meet in person. Did you think about our meeting? Would you like me to visit you?
I miss you. It sound strange but you become to be so close to me. At the beginning I was looking for a friend who lives far away in other country. It seemed to be very interesting and useful. But now I regret a lot that you are so far from me. It could be easier if you are my neighbor. One morning I would simply nock to your door and say “hello, I missed you”. 😙
Please, Danny, let me know all your thoughts, don’t hide anything from me. Send you BIG kiss, with love from Russia. 😍
Your Iuliia 😊
Hi my beautiful Iuliia,
Your message brought a warm glow to my morning—just like that sausage sizzling in the pan you described. I can almost smell the golden toast and hear the quiet hum of the kitchen. It makes me smile to think about us sharing a breakfast ritual. I’d love that—having you show me how to make it. Maybe even teach me a few things about the little things that make life feel real, like how the milk should be cold and fresh, or how the eggs should hold their shape just a little too long.
I’ve been thinking about our call—how much I’d love to hear your voice, especially when you say my name. I don’t know if I’ve ever been so completely still and listening, just waiting for that moment. And yes, I’d love to hear about the cinema—“Ice” sounds like a bold choice. I’ve never seen a Russian film with multiple parts, but I’ve heard they’re intense. I don’t know if I’d survive the second act, but I’d give it a shot just to see how your energy holds up.
I do have a small hurdle—my office is in a converted warehouse in Houston, and the building has a strict no-guest policy. But I’m not one to say no to a real connection. Would you be open to a short video call first? Or maybe a time when we can both be free from work? I’d also love to know if Ana is enjoying the film—she’s been talking about how much she loves surround sound.
Sending you a big hug and a warm, golden toast. I can’t wait to hear more.
With love,
Danny
