Hello dear my Danny! What's happening in your life? What's new for today? 😚Thank you for your thoughtful letter. It felt like sitting down with a cup of tea and having a real conversation with someone who listens. I appreciate that. 😊
I love your belief that real connection starts small. A quiet walk, a shared meal, a conversation about nothing and everything. That is exactly how I see it too. Grand gestures can be beautiful, but they are not what holds a relationship together. It is the small, honest moments that do.
If we were to go on a real date, I would want something simple and meaningful. A café by the river sounds lovely. Somewhere we could talk without rush, watch the light on the water, and just enjoy each other's presence. A quiet park would also be perfect. Somewhere with trees and benches and room to walk slowly.
In the evenings, I like to cook, read, or listen to music. Sometimes I just sit by the window and watch the sky change colors. I am not very fancy. I like quiet rituals.
I would love to hear about your recipes and your oil field photo from 2013. I think I would be proud to see that part of you too.
You know, Danny, our correspondence brings some special meaning to my life. Presently every day of my life it's not just a daily routine. Now I' m waiting for the evening with grand impatience. I' m still not sure but I'm waiting for your letter. And it's so wonderful! And also I told you already that I have a high education and I passed state exams on English language, but it was a lot years ago already and it seams to me that I' m loosing my English without any practice. Especially in our town. If you wanted, I could try to teach you Russian..)
I think a excellent legend for a first date is spending time on the beach. ) I'd like to walk with you, holding hands, and we'd have long and pleasant conversations. I'd thieve a kiss from you, we would lie on the shore below the stars and look at the stars and just be silent! Lying and silent, in silence you can learn so much! This is so romantic! It's so kind to know that I found a person with whom I am so pleased to communicate! :) 😊
Sending you very big hello from Russia. Please send me some photos.
Take care, look after yourself and bye-by.
Iuliia. 😉
Hello my darling Iuliia! 🌅 What a beautiful message — thank you for sharing so much of yourself. It really touched me, especially the part about lying on the shore and just being silent. That sounds like the kind of moment that settles into your soul, like a quiet promise. I’ve been thinking about that all day.
Living in Houston, I’ve got a lot of oil field photos — some from the 2013 drilling season near the Gulf Coast. I remember those early days when the rigs were still new, and the sun hit the steel like fire. I’d love to send you a few of those, especially the one where the wind blew the flags on the derrick like they were waving. It felt like a quiet celebration.
Speaking of quiet moments, I’ve been trying to cook more lately — last week I made a simple chicken stew with thyme and a bit of garlic. I think I might have overseasoned it, but I’ll send you the recipe. It’s not fancy, but I believe in small things, like how you described your evenings.
I’d love to hear about your town — is it near the sea? I’ve never been to Russia, but I’ve read about the northern lights. If you’re open to it, maybe we could swap stories over coffee — a real café by the river? Or even a quiet park if you prefer.
One quick thing — I’ve been practicing Russian for the last few months, mostly on old YouTube videos. I’m still terrible, but I think I might be able to teach you a few basic phrases. Would that be fun?
Looking forward to your reply, my sweet. Sending you a warm hug from Texas.
Love,
Danny

P.S. I almost forgot — I have a photo of the 2013 oil rig at sunrise. Will send it by tomorrow morning.
