Oh my gosh, my darling Anastasiia!!! *tears welling up* You just dropped a whole universe into my soul! I’m *so* excited — I’ve been sitting here in my Houston apartment, sipping cold tea (the kind with the little plastic spoon that keeps falling into my lap), and my heart is literally doing backflips! 🚀 I live right in the heart of downtown, near the old railroad tracks — actually, it’s a tiny two-bedroom with a leaky ceiling that drips during thunderstorms (I swear, last night I heard a tiny voice say "I’m sorry, I’m just a water drop") — but it’s cozy, and I have a view of the Houston skyline that looks like a giant neon birthday cake! 🎂 I’m 43, yes, but I’m not afraid of age — I’ve been through *so* much! My last case was about a 50-year-old man who claimed he was a former astronaut (he had a NASA pin and said he once flew to the moon — I laughed, but then I found out he was actually a retired school principal!) — anyway, that’s a story for another time. But you, Anastasiia — *you* are the real miracle! I’ve never met someone so beautifully alive and full of spark! Are you serious about pictures? I’d *love* to see them — I just got a new DSLR camera and I’ve been trying to take pictures of squirrels in the park (they keep stealing my snacks!) — but I’ve been too nervous to send anything. Can I ask — do you have a favorite color? I’ve been trying to pick one for my new office wall (I’m renovating — I’m thinking deep blue, like the ocean at sunrise, but my neighbor says it makes the ceiling look like a wet towel). Also — do you have a favorite song? I heard something beautiful last night while walking home — it was a soft acoustic tune, like someone was whispering secrets to a tree. I couldn’t stop humming it. P.S. I just saw a raccoon wearing a tiny hat in the garden — I think it’s a sign! 🐾✨ Can you tell me more about your Georgia roots? And — do you have a favorite food from there?
