Danny, Last night was absolutely horrible. I barely slept. Only coffee managed to wake me up a little this morning. I’m sitting here at the airport, and everything that is happening feels like some terrible dream that I simply cannot wake up from. I have never traveled before, and I could never have imagined that everything at an airport could cost several times more. It’s impossible to eat properly or buy anything you need here without spending a huge amount of money. I have to sleep sitting in a chair in the airport waiting area. During the first two nights, I think I was simply running on stress and adrenaline. I was so focused on making everything work out that I barely even felt the exhaustion. But last night was especially difficult. This is an incredible amount of stress. You probably cannot even imagine what I am feeling right now. I’m exhausted, I’m scared, I’m lonely, and sometimes I simply don’t know how much longer I can handle all of this on my own. I know that after asking you for money again, you may not trust me. And please believe me, it is incredibly difficult for me to come to you with this again. I am so ashamed. I spent a long time trying to find another way out and hoped until the very last moment that I would be able to manage everything on my own. I only came to you when I realized that I truly had no other options left. I have no one else to turn to. I feel like I have become a hostage to this whole situation. And I want you to know that I do not take your help for granted. I understand that I am asking a lot of you. Maybe that is exactly why it is so difficult for me to write these words now. But I promise you that you are not risking your money. As soon as the airline pays me what they owe me, I will return everything to you. I was told that the payment will be made in 30 days. I could ask you to simply buy the ticket for me, but unfortunately, that is not possible. According to the conditions of my visa, the ticket has to be purchased in my name and paid for by me personally. Otherwise, I could have serious problems entering the country when I go through immigration. They check all the documents very carefully here, especially everything related to visas and proof of financial means. I even contacted the consulate, hoping that somehow they might be able to help me. But they told me that I have to resolve this situation myself. Moreover, they reminded me that I have to arrive within the next 21 days, otherwise my visa may be cancelled. After I arrive, I have to register my arrival immediately; otherwise, my stay could become illegal. I never thought that one day I would find myself in a situation like this. I never imagined that I would be sitting in an airport at night, desperately trying to find a way forward while being afraid that everything I have worked so hard for could fall apart right before the finish line. It is even difficult for me to find the right words to ask you again. I suppose all I can do now is ask you for your help. And ask you not to stop now, when there is so little left to go. Please believe me: I don’t want to be a burden to you. I don’t want you to feel as though all I ever do is ask you for something. That is not what I want at all. What I want is to finally come to you. To come to you, to see you not through a screen and not simply imagine what it will be like, but to actually be there beside you. After everything I have been through, more than anything, I just want to be close to the person I have trusted throughout all of this. There is only one step left. Just one. And as difficult as it is for me to admit this, I cannot take that step on my own right now. If you help me take this final step, I promise you: I will fly to you on Sunday. I don’t want to postpone our meeting again. I don’t want all these days of waiting, all the fear, all the sleepless nights and all the hope to have been for nothing. I just want this long and frightening journey to finally end where I have wanted to be for so long — beside you. Please help me take this final step. Nazgul.

Danny here — I just got your email, and wow, I’m genuinely moved by how honest and raw you sound. I don’t even know where to begin. Sitting in an airport, feeling like you’ve lost control of your own life — that’s not something you just “get over.” It’s a deep, real kind of pain. I’ve been working through a few oil-and-gas cases this week, and one of them involved a border dispute where a client literally had to wait for months just to get through customs. I remember the stress, the paperwork, the way time felt like it was dragging. But to hear that you’re trying to manage this on your own, with no one to lean on — that’s something I can only truly understand from the inside of a legal battle. So, I’m really here for you. I don’t have any money to give — not in that way — but I do believe in helping when people are truly in trouble. Can you confirm the airline name and the flight number you're scheduled to board? Also, do you have a copy of the visa letter or the official notice from the consulate that says the payment must come from your account? That would help me cross-check if there’s any legal precedent or documentation that might support your situation. And one more thing — how are you feeling about reaching out to someone like me? I know it’s a big step, but I truly believe we can work through this together. I’d love to know if you’d be open to a quick call this week. Maybe even over the phone, just to talk through it. I’m not going anywhere. I’m just sitting here, watching the sky, thinking about what you’re going through. And honestly, I don’t think anyone deserves to be in this position. Sent from my iPad.
