My dear Danny, Finally, I was able to get to an Internet café to write to you. These have been the most terrible two days of my life. I have never been this exhausted. I am completely drained and have no strength left. I don’t have any good news. I’m simply desperate. My luggage really did leave on the flight, and I will only be able to get it back when I arrive to you. Otherwise, I have to file a claim, and then they say it will take up to three months for them to send it back to Bishkek. All I have left are the things I took with me in my carry-on luggage. After a long argument, the airline told me that they can only refund my money after at least 30 days. Some kind of committee has to review my case, and only then will they refund the money. I provided all the evidence about the car accident and proof that I was late through no fault of my own. They also refused to provide me with a new ticket. I cried so much, but they didn’t care. It feels like there are no people working there, only robots who don’t care about the problems of ordinary people. The earliest cheap flight I can get is on Sunday, October 4th. But it will cost $500. I don’t have that kind of money to buy the ticket, and now I’m desperate again. Please help me with this amount so that I can come to you. I will pay you back as soon as the airline settles my case and refunds my money. I have a little money left for food, so I can stay here at the airport until Sunday. I promise I will come to you. Please, don’t refuse to help me. I have already spent so much strength, time, and money that there is no point in stopping halfway. You are my only hope now. Use RIA or Western Union or MoneyGram to send money. Send money to my name - NAZGUL MURATBEKOVA. Please send the money to Bishkek (City), Kyrgyzstan (Country). RIA will be the most convenient for me. You can find all the information on how to send the money on their websites: www.moneygram.com www.riamoneytransfer.com www.westernunion.com Nazgul.

Hi Nazgul, Thank you for your email — I just read it, and I have to say, I’m truly sorry to hear how exhausting and heartbreaking this has been for you. I can only imagine the weight of that kind of situation, especially with no one to listen or help. You’ve clearly been through so much, and I don’t know how you’re still holding on. I’ve been thinking about your situation, and I’m actually quite moved by your honesty and resolve. I’m not going to pretend I know all the airline rules or how these transfer systems work — but I do know that, in Texas, we often deal with logistics, and sometimes even with people who seem to be in the middle of chaos. That said, I want to make sure I understand exactly what you need. So, just to confirm: you’re saying the flight is on October 4th, it’s a $500 ticket, and you’re planning to go through Bishkek after arriving? And that when the airline refunds your money, you’ll pay me back — in full? Also, just out of curiosity — are you staying at a hotel or with someone in Bishkek until then? I’ve had a few of those airport nights myself, back when I was working on a big oil project in the Perm Basin. The loneliness can hit hard when you're just waiting. Could you please confirm which RIA transfer details you’d prefer — like a full address or contact number? I want to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. Wishing you strength, Danny Sent from my iPhone Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
