Hi Danny! I know you have been waiting for our meeting for a long time, and I truly appreciate your patience and the attention you give me. Please believe me, I have not forgotten about you or about our wish to meet. I really want to come and see you. I often imagine the moment when we will finally be together, when we can talk, smile, and spend time with each other. I’m sorry that I don’t have the opportunity to call you right now, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to communicate with you. I am doing everything I can to stay in touch because our communication is important to me. Thank you for your understanding and for waiting for me. I hope that soon we will be able to meet and create our own real memories together. Nazgul.

Hi Nazgul — thanks so much for your message. I actually just got off the phone with my brother this morning, and he said he’s been meaning to mention that the new oil well in the Panhandle is about to go live. It’s been such a long time since we’ve had any real updates on the field, and I’ve been thinking about how much I’ve missed those kinds of conversations. I suppose that’s why I’ve been so attentive to your emails — they feel like a real connection, not just another message in the noise. I’ve been meaning to ask — when do you think we might actually be able to meet? I know it’s been a little slow on the travel side, and I’ve been trying to sort out some logistics with my office here in Houston. I’ve been looking into local options — maybe something at the Houston Botanic Gardens? Or even a quiet corner of the Texas State Pavilion? I just love how peaceful it feels when you can talk without distractions. Also, have you been keeping up with the weather patterns lately? I noticed a few reports about unusual shifts in the Gulf front, and I was wondering if that might affect any travel plans. I really hope we can make it happen soon — I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately. Warmly, Danny Sent from my iPhone Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415

Danny, It's not easy for me to write this letter to you again, because it hurts me that you still doubt me. Today I was finally given my departure date - September 23rd. What scares me most is that I was warned that if I don't pay the remaining $520 by September 19th, everything will be cancelled. ALL THE EFFORT I HAVE PUT INTO THIS WILL HAVE BEEN FOR NOTHING! I will lose all the money I have spent on all the documents. I have put so much effort into obtaining all the documents and certificates required for my visa. I have spent my own money, time, and probably more emotional energy on this than I can even explain to you. I was told that if everything is cancelled now, I definitely won't have another chance to get the visa. I don't know what else I can say to make you understand how serious all of this is for me. I simply want so much to come to you. I want to finally stop writing about my feelings to you through a screen and, one day, actually be there beside you. That is why I'm turning to you now with my last hope and asking for your help. If you truly believe in me and in what we have between us, please help me take this final step and send the money before September 19th. I'm scared because my trip to you now depends on this. And perhaps that is why I'm writing to you with so much emotion. I want September 23rd to become more than just a date on an itinerary. I want it to be the beginning of our long-awaited meeting. Please think of me and of how much hope I have put into this journey. With warmth and love, Nazgul.

Hi Nazgul, Thank you for sharing all of this — it truly moved me. I read your message three times, and every time I felt a little more connected to what you’re going through. Honestly, it’s not easy to hear about someone pouring so much emotion and money into something that feels so fragile. I can’t imagine the weight of that — especially knowing that if you don’t get this through, it might be the end of your hopes for meeting me. I’ve been trying to get back to you about the visa thing, and I’ve been calling around to a few immigration consultants I know in Houston. I’m not sure if they’re the right ones, but I thought I’d ask you — is there a specific document or form you’d need me to sign or verify? I know it’s not easy, but I really want to help. Also, do you have a contact number or email for the visa office or agent you’re working with? I’d love to talk directly to them to see what’s needed. On a personal note, today I was walking past the old courthouse, and I saw a sign that said “Houston’s First Oil Law Case — 1965.” I thought about how much I love the energy and history of this place — it’s like a real-life courtroom, right? And now, somehow, I’m thinking about you. That’s strange, but maybe it means something. Please let me know if you need me to do anything — even just send a letter of support or help draft a message to the visa office. I’m not going anywhere, Nazgul. I’m here. Danny, Today I have two pieces of good news to share with you. First, I managed to change my flight and move my departure date to October 11th, so I have one more week. Second, I managed to find a temporary job here at the airport. I got a job as a cleaner, and I will be able to work two shifts a day. It is not a prestigious job, and it is not very well paid, but honestly, that doesn't matter to me right now. What matters is that I will have enough money for food until the day I leave. I want you to see that I am also doing everything I can to make it to you. I am not simply sitting here and asking you for money. I am trying to help myself too. I really, truly want to come to you. More than anything, I want to finally be there with you, instead of being separated by distance, uncertainty, and all these problems. When I arrive, I will also work. I am ready to do almost any honest job. I am not afraid of hard work, and I don't want to become a burden to you. But there is one thing I simply cannot manage on my own — the cost of the ticket. That is why I am asking you, with all my heart, please help me. We still have one whole week. Please, help me get through this and send me the money for the ticket. I am not asking you to give me this money as a gift. It is really not like that. As I already told you, the airline should return my money at the beginning of November, and when I receive it, I will be able to pay you back. The hardest part for me is knowing that I have already told you how urgently I need to arrive, because I need to register my visa in time or it may be cancelled. Every day that passes makes me more frightened that I might lose the chance to come to you. I don't want to lose this chance. I don't want all our hopes and plans to disappear because of one ticket. You know how much I want to be with you. I am doing everything that is within my power, and now I am asking you to do this one thing for me. Please don't refuse to help me. My future, and in a way my whole fate right now, truly feels like it is in your hands. I hope that when you read this, you will understand not only my fear, but also how much love and hope are behind my words. I want to come to you, to finally see you, hold you, and know that all this waiting and worrying was worth it. Please help me make it those last few steps to you. With all my heart, Nazgul.

Danny, Thank you for the update — I’ve been reading your messages over and over, and honestly, it’s hard not to feel something deep when you write like this. I don’t know how many times I’ve read about your new job at the airport, and how you’re working two shifts just to survive until your trip. That kind of determination… it moves me. I’m sitting here at my kitchen table in Houston, sipping cold coffee from a chipped mug I bought at the 7-Eleven down by the river, thinking about how you’ve turned your life around — not just for the visa, but for the chance to actually *meet* me. That’s not something you just do. It takes courage, and I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who showed such real effort to make a connection happen. So, just so I’m clear — you’re saying the flight is now set for October 11th, and you’ve got one full week until departure. Is the airline’s refund coming in early November? And can you confirm if it’s a full refund or if it’s being held in a specific account? Also, I’d like to know — are you still planning to register your visa in person at the consulate before you leave? I’m not saying I’m going to help you pay, but I *do* want to know how things are going so I can be there for you emotionally. I really, truly believe in you and what we’re building. I’m not going to say “no,” because I don’t think that would ever be fair to what you’ve gone through. Warmly, Danny Sent from my iPhone Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415

Danny, I want to open my heart to you and tell you something that has been weighing heavily on my soul. I understand that you may have your own principles and that you may find it difficult to trust someone you met on the Internet. But I hope you can make an exception for me and give me a chance. Meeting you could be an important step toward a new life for me. I respect you very much, and I am afraid of losing the opportunity to meet you. Unfortunately, without your help I not be able to come to you. I need only $300 to cover the remaining cost. I will not ask you for more. I understand that this is a serious request, and I want you to feel comfortable discussing it with me. Today, while I was working, I saw a shop selling traditional souvenirs from Kyrgyzstan. I couldn't resist buying a little gift for you. It is a white kalpak, the traditional Kyrgyz men's hat. Here in Kyrgyzstan, the kalpak is a symbol of tradition, dignity, and respect. Many respected men wear it, and it is an important part of our culture. I wanted you to have one too because I respect and appreciate you so much. I spent almost all the money I earned working night shifts cleaning the airport to buy it, but I don't regret it. I bought it because you are important to me, and I wanted to bring you something special from my homeland. I hope I will soon have the chance to give it to you personally. My love, there is very little time left before my departure. If I cannot pay the remaining $300 in time, I will have to cancel the trip, and I will never be able to come visit you again. My visa will be revoked, and I will be banned from entering the country. I hope you understand how much this meeting means to me. You are not just an ordinary person in my life anymore. You have become someone I deeply care about, someone I respect, and someone I am afraid of losing. The thought that I might not be able to come and meet you breaks my heart. I have dreamed about the moment when I can finally stand before you, look into your eyes, and discover whether the beautiful connection we have shared through our words can become something real. I am waiting for your reply, my dear, and hoping that one day soon I will be able to stand in front of you, smile, and give you the little gift I chose with so much warmth in my heart. With love and tenderness, Yours Nazgul.

Hi Nazgul, Thank you for sharing that—about the kalpak. I actually saw one of those at a market last week in Houston, and I thought of you right away. It’s such a meaningful symbol, and the fact that you spent your hard-earned wages to buy it for me… that means more than I can say. I’m touched by how much you’ve given, not just money, but your time, your heart, and your hope. Honestly, it’s made me believe in something real. I’ve been thinking about your situation all week, and I’ve been trying to check the airline’s refund timeline for your original ticket—something I keep forgetting to do because I’ve been busy with a case about pipeline liability in East Texas. The one thing I need to confirm is: when you say the airline should return your money at the beginning of November, is that the *exact* date or a general window? I want to make sure the timing lines up with your flight date so I can help you properly. Also, just so I’m clear—when you say you need only $300 to cover the final cost, is that the *full* amount for the ticket, or does that include any processing fees or visa deposits? I don’t want to misstep. I really want you to come. I’ve been thinking about how much this means to you—and to me. I can’t imagine being separated from someone who’s poured so much of themselves into a connection. I’ll do whatever I can to make it happen.
