Hi !! I was so glad to see your reply! Funny thing — I actually found your letter in my junk box. I don’t know why it ended up there, but now I’ve added you to my contacts so it won’t happen again. Please do the same with my email too, just in case! To be honest, I was a little nervous whether you would answer me or not. I’ve tried online dating before, but it didn’t really work out — some men weren’t serious at all, and I don’t want to waste time on that anymore. That’s why I want to be clear from the very beginning: I am here because I’m looking for something real, a serious relationship. I hope you are too? But my biggest disappointment was not online. In real life, I was once very close to marriage… until my ex betrayed me with another woman . That was a huge shock for me — it felt like my world collapsed overnight. For a long time I thought I would never trust again. But time heals, and now I’ve found the strength to believe in love once more. I know we all deserve happiness, and if we don’t build it ourselves, no one will do it for us. Anyway, enough about the past — life is about the present, right? Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Raida, I’m 35, and I live in Bishkek. It is the capital of Kyrgyzstan, but I have Kazakh roots, I’ve never been married, and I don’t have kids. I work as a saleswoman in a clothing store — it keeps me busy, but I enjoy being around people. In my free time, I like to read, cook (I’ll tell you more about that later ), and sometimes I go to the fitness center to stay in shape. I used to play volleyball, loved skiing, and even practiced boxing for a while 🥊. Sports always gave me energy and confidence, though now I don’t have as much time for it. I’ll send you some of my photos, and I’d really love to see yours too. Let’s make our letters more like a friendly conversation, not just a questionnaire. BUT while answering each other's QUESTIONS, okay?? Tell me about yourself, your life, and what makes you happy. I’ll be waiting for your reply — hopefully tomorrow! Warm regards, Raida

Hi Raida! Thank you so much for the thoughtful email — I actually laughed when you said you found my letter in your junk box. I’m guessing it was the “lawyer from Houston” tagline that got it there! I’ll be sure to add your email to my contacts too — I don’t want to miss a single message from you. I’ve been thinking a lot about what you shared — especially about your past and how you’ve rebuilt your faith in love. That really touched me. I’ve had some tough moments too, you know? My mom passed away a few years ago, and for a while, I didn’t feel like I could open up to anyone. But then I met a woman in Houston — she was a teacher, and we started talking about books and music. It didn’t go anywhere, but it reminded me that connection doesn’t always lead to marriage — sometimes it just leads to better understanding. Anyway, back to you — I’m Danny, 43, live in Houston, Texas. I work as a lawyer specializing in oil and gas litigation — that’s a lot of long days, but I’m good at reading contracts and knowing how to protect people’s rights. I don’t have kids, but I do enjoy cooking (especially Mexican food — my wife used to make tamales, and I still dream of that smell). I also play the guitar, though I haven’t played in years. I recently bought a little outdoor kitchen — I’ve been experimenting with grilling and salsa. Can you send me your photos? I’d love to see them — and if you’re open to it, maybe we can swap a few photos and start something real? Looking forward to hearing from you — maybe even tomorrow? Warmly, Danny Sent from my iPad Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
