Sir,
Thanks so much for your email dated 18/06/2026.
I am so sorry to respond to you late. I am trying to make sure everything
is 100% orderly.
I am glad to inform you that we can get started and move straight to
achieving this albatross, which is going to help both of us as partners.
The money is $50 million only.
My question goes this way:
Can you be able to manage the funds for a period of 20 years with excellent
profits?
Have you handled any external funds before?
Can you accept 60% for the fund owner /35% for you, and /5 % yearly
expenses?
How good are you in your sector?
Kindly respond to this email to enable us to work as a team.
Thanks,

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for getting back to me — I really appreciate the clarity and the confidence in the opportunity. I’ve been thinking about this all week, especially after a long day at the office with a client dispute over a wellhead valuation. Honestly, it’s rare to find something this bold and transparent in the energy sector.
To be honest, I’ve managed external funds before — mostly in oil and gas litigation, where we’ve had to handle litigation trusts, joint ventures, and even some offshore fund structures. I’ve worked with investors in Texas, Oklahoma, and even a few in the Gulf of Mexico. So, I’m comfortable with that kind of structure.
Now, to your question: Can I manage $50 million for 20 years with excellent profits? Well, I’d say yes — if the model is sound and if we can align on risk, return expectations, and operational oversight. I also understand your split: 60% for the fund owner, 35% for me, and 5% for expenses. That seems fair and very much in line with what I’ve seen in private equity structures.
Just a few questions to help us get aligned:
1. What’s the projected annual return target for the 20-year period?
2. Is there a specific asset or region we’re targeting (like the Permian or Eagle Ford)?
3. Can you share a brief outline of the fund’s operational model — like how decisions will be made or who will oversee day-to-day operations?
I’m genuinely excited about this. I’ve been thinking about starting something new — maybe even a partnership that could help bring more stability to the market.
Best,
Danny

Danny Smith,
Many thanks for your frank email to me, and I must put it to you that you
are the kind of person the fund's owner wants to push the funds to another
level, mostly in the oil and gas sector or real estate.
My reason for not reaching out to you since is the poor health of the
fund's owner, who is aged and wishes to invest the funds as urgently as
possible. He has instructed me to start moving with you. With your
experience and your country of origin, he is happy with you. So, you have
control of the funds when it is in your bank account. Come soon.
The sharing ratio, risk management, and all investment policies are welcome
by him. I have to draw up an MOU in a short time to present to you for
study and to read well; then, if you welcome it, we move forward.
To answer your question as follows:
1. What’s the projected annual return target for the 20 years? This
won't be calculated, but with the market level, we shall determine how much
it can be. This won't be our stress now ok.
2. Is there a specific asset or region we’re targeting (like the
Permian or Eagle Ford)? The Permian will be fantastic. As we grow, we can
add to the Eagle Ford.
3. Can you share a brief outline of the fund’s operational model —
like how decisions will be made or who will oversee day-to-day operations?
The fund will be under your control, and expenses will be made as well from
the 5%. Then the decision will be shared by both parties for good reason,
but execution of the action plan will be in your control because you are
the one on the ground as a citizen.
My advice to you is that keeping this secret must be your first and most
important key for good understanding, faithfulness, and true partnership.
Waiting to hear from you.
Harward Edward.

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the detailed response — I really appreciate the clarity and the confidence you’ve shared. Honestly, it makes me feel like we’re on solid ground. I’ve been thinking a lot about the Permian Basin lately — it’s been a solid performer over the last few years, especially with the new infrastructure coming online. I used to work on a few cases involving lease agreements there, so I know the terrain well. That’s actually one of the reasons I’m excited about this — the local knowledge and ground-level presence really matter in oil and gas.
I also want to make sure I’m fully aligned: the fund owner is fully on board, and the 60/35/5 split seems fair and sustainable. I’ve never managed funds directly before — more so through litigation or due diligence — so I’m a bit nervous about the operational side. But I’m open to learning, and I’m sure we can build a strong process together.
Just to confirm: are we looking at a formal MOU draft that outlines the decision-making structure, the reporting cycle, and how expenses are tracked? Also, is there a timeline for when you expect it to be ready so I can review it?
Lastly, I’ve been working on a side project with a local energy group — if this works, I might be able to bring in some trusted partners. Would that be something you’d consider as a shared strategy?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the detailed message — I really appreciate the clarity and the trust you're placing in me. It means a lot, especially coming from someone who’s clearly invested in this partnership.
I’ve been thinking about how the Permian Basin is such a strong play, especially with the current drilling efficiencies and the ongoing demand for energy. Honestly, it’s been a real passion of mine over the years — I used to work on a few litigation cases involving production disputes there, and it just feels like a place where things can move with real momentum.
Just to confirm, are we still on track for the MOU to be drafted and sent over by the end of this week? I’m trying to make sure I’m not missing any key deadlines. Also, could you clarify if the fund’s owner has any specific preference for how the returns will be distributed — say, after 5 years or 10 years? I’m assuming it’s not a fixed percentage, but rather a performance-based model, which makes sense given the volatility.
And one small thing — I’m currently working from home in Houston, so I’ll be in my office at the West End, near the old oil field office building. I’ve been trying to keep it quiet lately — not many people know I’m doing this side work.
Looking forward to your reply.

I wanted to hear from him first with your questions so that I can respond
to your answers in the best interest of this investment project.
Frankly, he was not feeling strong last night.
The profit returns will be in 1 to 2 years, then 3 years, then a 20-year
countdown to see how the sector grows. Both can make another investment
plan to ensure the growth of the project and fund itself.
Note that it is never a fixed percentage because the market can't be
predicted in any investment that makes it a business or investment, seeing
the weather globally is everywhere.
As I stated, the investment has been respected with the highest secrecy for
the best interest of everyone.
The MOU will be sent to you today.

Aug 6, 2026, 10:09 AM UTC
Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the update — I really appreciate you sharing that. I’ve been thinking about the timeline you mentioned, especially with the 20-year countdown. It makes sense in the long run, but I’m curious: since the fund owner is in poor health, does that mean the decision to move forward — or even the actual disbursement of funds — would need to be approved by someone else, or is it fully dependent on your ability to act quickly?
Also, just to confirm, you said the MOU will be sent today — is it being sent via email, or is it being prepared in a document format (like PDF or Word) that I can open and review? I’ve been meaning to start reading through investment documents more carefully, and I do enjoy the thought of having a formal agreement outlining the terms.
On a personal note, I’ve been trying to get a better handle on the Permian Basin lately — I’ve been walking through the area with my son last weekend, and he showed me some of the old well pads. It’s actually kind of fascinating how much history is still buried under the ground. I wonder if that kind of local insight would help us in making decisions later.
Could you also confirm when the MOU will actually be delivered? I want to make sure I’m ready to respond promptly. I’m truly excited about this — and I don’t want to delay anything.
Looking forward to hearing back.

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the MOU — I’ve been looking at it carefully and it all makes sense in terms of the structure and risk-sharing. Honestly, it’s a little overwhelming at first, but I can see how the long-term growth model could work, especially with the market fluctuations you mentioned. I’ve been thinking about how the weather patterns and global oil trends play into investment decisions — that’s something I actually study in my work with oil and gas litigation. It’s not just about the numbers, you know? There’s a lot of underlying dynamics that shape what happens.
I’ve got a few questions that might help me get it all squared away:
1. Can you confirm the exact percentage of profit-sharing that will be applied once we start? I know it’s not fixed, but I’d like to understand the range or formula.
2. How will the funds be transferred once they’re in the bank account? Is there a specific bank in Texas we’re targeting?
3. Do you have a timeline for when the MOU will be officially sent to the bank after I sign? I’ve been trying to make sure everything aligns with my schedule, especially since I’m managing a few cases this week — it’s a bit hectic, but I’m committed.
I’m really excited about this — it feels like something I can genuinely get behind. Maybe we could even have a quick call if you’re open to it? I’m in Houston, so it’s not far.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

To answer your questions:
I’ve got a few questions that might help me get it all squared away:
1. Can you confirm the exact percentage of profit-sharing that will be
applied once we start? I know it’s not fixed, but I’d like to understand
the range or formula.
The sharing will be each year's profits you removed 20% for reinvestment;
it comes to 80%.
80% becomes 100%. You minus the 5% expenses, then take 35% for your own
keep, and then 60% goes to the fund's owner. This shall run for 20 years
and is subject to extension
2. How will the funds be transferred once they’re in the bank account? Is
there a specific bank in Texas we’re targeting?
The bank in London is where the funds are deposited. They will open
communication with you and discuss how the funds will be approved and
transferred to the bank account you will provide for them. All shall depend
on how you want the funds to be transferred; if bit by bite, you will
discuss with the bank. You can provide any of your banks of your choice,
which is well acceptable.
The bank is not in Texas or in America. The bank is in London; your
information will be passed to them when we are set to sign the MOU.
3. Do you have a timeline for when the MOU will be officially sent to the
bank after I sign?
The timeline for the MOU is 2 weeks or less.

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the detailed breakdown — I really appreciate you going through all that. It’s actually helped me feel more confident about moving forward. Honestly, I’ve been thinking about how much time I’ve spent lately just sitting in the office, watching the oil rigs on the Gulf — it’s kind of a quiet kind of energy, like everything’s holding its breath. Still, I can see how the project could grow if it’s built on solid ground.
I have a few follow-ups I’d love to get clarity on before I sign anything:
1. You mentioned the 80% profit split with 35% going to me and 60% to the fund owner — could you confirm if that’s consistent every year, or does it adjust based on market fluctuations or expenses? I’m assuming it's formula-based, but I want to make sure I’m not missing any variables.
2. You said the London bank will handle the transfer — is there a way to have a brief call with someone from the bank’s operations team before the funds go through? I’ve got a few personal questions about how things would work in practice, and I don’t want to jump into anything without feeling fully informed.
3. Regarding the timeline — the MOU needs to be sent to the bank in under two weeks. Is that a firm deadline, or is there flexibility in case we need to review something? I’ve been in the middle of a few oil litigation cases lately, and I’m just trying to keep things aligned with my schedule.
Thanks again for your patience — I really believe in this opportunity and want to get it right.

Hi Harward,
Thanks so much for the detailed breakdown — I really appreciate how thorough you’ve been. It’s actually helped me feel more confident about moving forward, especially with the profit-sharing structure. I’ve been working on a few oil litigation cases lately, and honestly, the way you laid out the percentages reminds me of how we calculate recoveries in those deals — it’s pretty systematic. That kind of clarity is rare and really valuable.
Just a few quick follow-ups to make sure I’m not missing anything:
1. You mentioned the London bank will open communication with me after the MOU is submitted — is there a specific department or name I should expect to hear from, like a compliance officer or fund operations lead? I’d like to know if there’s a way to get a basic overview of their process, even if only through a brief intro call.
2. About the timeline — you said it’s two weeks or less, and that you’ll be sending it to the bank. Could you confirm if there’s any chance we might need to adjust the timing based on any regulatory checks or paperwork we might need to complete on our end? I’m not asking to delay, but I want to make sure we’re both on the same page with expectations.
3. One small personal thing — I’ve been trying to keep in touch with a few people I met during a recent oil field tour in the Panhandle. I’ve been thinking about starting a side project about local energy trends. If this partnership ever grows, I’d love to chat more — maybe even share some of those insights.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

Hey Harward,
Thanks so much for the detailed breakdown — I appreciate how clear you’ve been. Honestly, after reading through everything, I’m actually quite excited about moving forward. I’ve been in the oil and gas space for over two decades, so the idea of being involved in a fund that’s structured this way feels both familiar and promising.
Just wanted to touch base on a couple of things before I sign. First, since the MOU will be sent to the London bank, and you’re handling the official introduction, can you confirm what kind of documentation they’ll need from me — like a legal ID, proof of address, or a power of attorney? I’d hate to have to jump through hoops later.
Also, since I’m a single guy in Houston, I’ve been thinking about how I’d manage the communication with the bank. Would it be possible to have a quick phone call with one of the bank’s operations reps before the MOU is sent — just to get a feel for the process? I’m not asking for anything special, just to make sure I’m fully on board.
And one last thing — you mentioned the fund is running for 20 years with extension possible. Is there a way to get a copy of the original agreement or at least the profit-sharing formula laid out in writing? I’d like to share it with my team for review, even if just as a reference.
Looking forward to your thoughts — I really believe this could be something meaningful.

Hi Harward,
Thanks for the update — I appreciate you being so clear and patient. I’ve been reviewing the MOU draft and just wanted to double-check a couple of things before I commit.
First, you mentioned that the 80% profit split stays consistent year after year — that sounds great, but just to be safe, could you confirm if there’s any way the split might be adjusted during a downturn, say if oil prices drop below a certain threshold? I’ve handled a few well-known litigation cases in the Gulf region, and I know how volatile the market can be. I’m just trying to make sure I’m fully aligned with the structure.
Second, about the bank communication — you said the London bank will handle the transfer once the MOU is sent. Is there any chance you or the bank could share a brief, non-binding confirmation of the fund’s management setup? I’m not asking for anything formal — just a quick note to help me feel confident moving forward.
Also, I’ve been working on a side project this week involving a new offshore drilling lease in the Gulf of Mexico — it’s been a long week, but I think it might actually complement this opportunity. Would you be open to a quick chat about how these two could possibly align?
Looking forward to your thoughts.

Hi Harward,
Thanks for checking in — I’m doing great, actually, and I really appreciate your patience. I’ve been meaning to follow up on the MOU since I’ve been reviewing the details of the oil and gas opportunity, and I’m genuinely excited about the potential.
You know, this morning I was walking through the Houston district, and I noticed how much the energy sector is evolving — especially with new drilling tech and sustainability trends. It made me think about how a partnership like this could actually have a real impact. That’s what really drew me in — not just the money, but the chance to work on something meaningful.
So, just to confirm: is the MOU document ready for me to download or review? And if so, could you let me know what the next steps are after I sign? I’d also love to know if there’s a specific deadline or funding timeline we need to be mindful of.
