Thank you for your email — I just read it carefully and wanted to confirm a few things so I don’t miss anything important. I’ve been meaning to check in about my recent travel to Germany, actually — I flew into Frankfurt last fall after a business meeting with a Swiss energy firm, and I remember getting a little confused about the customs process back then. I don’t recall ever receiving any ATM card or being officially flagged by any embassy.
Just to be clear — are you referring to a physical ATM card containing €15.5 million? That seems extremely unusual. I’m not familiar with any such currency being held in a single ATM card. Also, I’d like to understand how the “clearance certificate” works — is this something issued by Swiss authorities? Who exactly is verifying the origin of this amount?
And for my own peace of mind — if I were to send a €25 iTunes card (or stem wallet), would that be processed directly to a Swiss account, or would it go through Germany Embassy channels?
