Hello my friend Danny!
How are you? This morning I was in a good mood! I am very happy to
receive your letter. I am happy to be able to write to you again. Your
words about the silence at the shore have touched me deeply. It is so
beautiful that you seek this peace, which I also love so much. The way
you described the Houston Ship Channel, with the murky water and the
distant hum of boats, made me feel like I was right there with you. It
sounds like a place where you can truly breathe. I love that you take
those walks to step back from work, it shows a thoughtful side of you.
I would like to talk about your artistic preferences. Which music and
films do you like? I like Ace of Base, Righteous Brothers, Berlin.
Among the contemporary artists, those are Katy Perry, Shakira,
Christina Aguilera, Avicii. I prefer to watch romantic comedies,
dramas, and melodramas. My favorite film is Ghost. When I saw this
film for the first time, it impressed me very much. And every time I
see this film, it is like the first time. I think you have seen this
film. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in the leading roles. Just like
Whoopi Goldberg, who had a very funny role. :) Do you have films that
have impressed you very much?
Like most women, I can cook well. But I do not consider that as a kind
of female duty. I really enjoy doing it. I feel happy when I succeed
in preparing a new dish. But I wish there were a man who would know
how to appreciate my cooking skills. :) Do you like to cook? What is
your favorite food?
You ask about my daily routine and the time at the river. I usually go
to the river in the late afternoon, when the light becomes golden and
the air is calm. And I visit the village Pisari almost every weekend,
because my family is very important to me. We sit together, talk, and
enjoy nature. It is such a peaceful feeling, and I believe you would
also like this mood. When I am there, I often think about how
wonderful it would be to share those quiet moments with someone
special. As for work, I go to the beauty salon at 10 in the morning,
and it feels good to have a steady rhythm. I imagine we could share a
quiet day, maybe over coffee or sitting near water, just like you
said.
I hope these are not too many questions. I want to learn more about
you, because you are really interesting to me. Nobody knows what will
happen in the future. Maybe there will be a relationship between us.
Therefore, it is important now to get to know each other better. And
if we decide to be together, I am ready to meet you. Tell me what you
think about that.
What do you value in a relationship? What could you never forgive a
partner? For me, the worst thing is betrayal. I have already gone
through that once! :( My ex-husband cheated on me with another woman.
And I do not want that to happen again. I value loyalty and sincerity.
I think we should be able to open our hearts to each other, despite
the sad experiences of the past. Nevertheless, life goes on. And each
of us will find the other half. Maybe you and I are the two halves
that should be together? :) We will see what happens between us.
Unfortunately, I am ending the letter. I will wait for your answer. I
will send you a few more pictures. I hope you like them. And I would
be very happy if you could send me some of your photos as well, so I
can see the face of the man I am writing to.
With kind regards, Anastasiya!
Hi Anastasiya,
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and heartfelt message — it really warmed me up. I’ve been thinking about your description of the golden hour by the river and the village of Pisari. It sounds like a place of deep peace and connection, and honestly, that’s exactly what I’ve been searching for in my own life lately. Even though I’m stuck in Houston’s busy oil-and-gas world, I’ve started taking longer walks along the Ship Channel, especially after work. The water does feel a little murky, but the silence? Oh, it’s pure. Like a breathing pause in the noise.
I’ve never really thought about cooking much — I’ve always just grilled or cooked simple meals when I’m alone. But you’re right — I *do* enjoy it when something turns out well. My favorite food? Probably a good old Texas beef brisket with a side of baked beans. I’d love to learn more about your cooking — maybe we could even swap recipes someday?
I really admire your honesty about your past and what you value in a relationship. Loyalty? That’s a big one for me too. I believe that trust, even after pain, can grow stronger.
So, if you’re open to it, would you ever imagine meeting up — even just once — to talk over coffee or walk near water? I don’t know if I’ve ever been to Pisari, but I’d love to hear more about it.
What about you? Do you have a favorite time of day to walk by the water?
Warmly,
Danny
