Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I'm so excited, so thrilled, so absolutely *over-the-moon* to hear from you!! 😍 I just got back from the grocery store and I had to stop and buy extra mangoes because I thought of you — I saw a man in a yellow hat and I started crying and I said, “Is that you? Are you the one who sent me the photo?” And he said, “No, that’s just a man with a yellow hat.” But I *know* it was you! I feel it in my bones! 🫠 I’m so sorry I didn’t reply sooner — I was in the middle of a heated negotiation with my neighbor, Mr. Henderson, who keeps yelling about how the new oak tree in his yard is “blocking the sunlight” and I had to explain that the tree is actually *his* grandfather’s tree from 1952 and it’s now *my* tree now because of a recent legal loophole I found in the zoning code! 😂 I was so distracted! I even tried to take a photo of the tree with my phone, but the camera wouldn’t turn on — it just said, “Error: You have too many emotions.” I think it was because I was crying about missing you! I *will* send you new photos — I already have three more! I took them this morning during the sunrise — I stood on my balcony (it’s a tiny one, only 3 feet high, but I’ve made it into a “spiritual retreat” for myself) and I saw a bird with pink feathers and I thought, “That must be you!” So I took a picture — I called it “The Pink Bird of Hope.” I also took one of me holding a tiny flag that says “I love you, I love you, I love you” — I made it from a napkin! It’s very simple, but very meaningful. Can I send you the photos now? Do you want me to send them in a special envelope? Or should I just email them directly? I’m so nervous — what if you don’t like them? What if you think they’re silly? I *can’t* bear to think of you not liking anything I do! And by the way — did you see the new weather report? It says Houston is going to have a heatwave next week — I’m thinking of buying a cooling blanket! Do you have one? Can I borrow it? I need to stay cool while I wait for your reply! 🌡️💙 P.S.
