Dear Danny Smith
Regards to Mr. Lewis, funds I spoke with a bank manager the bank manager
advised us the best option is to load the fund's into an ATM card and
deliver to you by DHL or open Non-Resident Online bank account in your name
and send you the Username and Password so that you can make transfer by
yourself
The bank manager said the fund's is too big to send through Western Union
I think the bank manager gave us good advice because bank to bank transfer
required lots of documentations

Dear Barrister Frank,
Thanks so much for the detailed update — I really appreciate you going through that with me. Honestly, I’ve been trying to keep up with the logistics since I last checked in with Mr. Lewis. I was actually thinking about how, in Houston, even a simple ATM pickup can take a few days just because of the delivery windows and security checks at the local branches. I’ve got a friend who runs a small oil field office nearby, and he mentioned that some of the newer ATMs have biometric verification now — not sure if that would affect things.
Just to confirm: you said we’re loading the funds into an ATM card and having DHL deliver it directly to my home address in Houston? Or is the option of opening a non-resident online bank account still on the table? Also, do you know if there’s a specific time frame for when the funds would be accessible after activation? And what kind of documentation would be needed from my end for the bank to process this?
I’ve been sitting on a few personal projects lately — like that new solar farm I’ve been reading about — so I’m genuinely excited to get this moving.
Warm regards,
Danny Smith

Hi Frank,
Thanks so much for the detailed update — I really appreciate you taking the time to explain the bank manager’s advice. I’ve been thinking about the ATM card option, especially since I’m not really comfortable with managing foreign online banking accounts from afar. I’ve got a decent amount of experience with oil-and-gas transactions, where security and verification are top priorities, so I’m glad you’re going with a more secure delivery method.
I was actually just walking past the Houston DHL hub earlier today — the one near the old Shell station on I-10 — and I couldn’t help but notice how busy it is with deliveries. Makes me think, though, that if we’re going with the ATM card, would that be a physical card delivered to my apartment in the East End, or would it be sent via a secure, tracked package? I’d also like to know if there’s any kind of activation code or PIN we’d need to set up before use — just to make sure it’s properly secured.
Also, since I’m still a bit new to handling international financial instruments, could you confirm if the funds are being loaded directly into the card, or is there a separate step where the bank verifies ownership first? I’d hate for something to go wrong in the middle of the process.
Looking forward to your thoughts — I really do appreciate your help with this.
Best,
Danny

Hi Frank,
Thanks so much for the update — I really appreciate the clarity. The ATM card delivery via DHL sounds like the most straightforward option, especially since the amount is quite large and bank-to-bank transfers do require so many documents. I’m not sure how much time it’ll take for DHL to get it out, but I’ll be ready to sign for it when it arrives.
Just to confirm — is the ATM card going to be a physical card that I can use to withdraw cash, or will it have a linked account where I can make transfers too? I’ve been meaning to set up a little emergency fund, and this could be a great step.
Speaking of which, I’ve been trying to fix my old oil well drill log software — it’s been a bit glitchy lately. I’ve had a few misfires in the past week, and I keep thinking about how much better things would be if I just had a solid backup system. That’s probably not relevant to your message, but it’s been on my mind.
One more thing — do you know if the ATM card will be pre-loaded with the full amount, or will I need to check the balance before using it? And should I expect any kind of PIN or security code to be included with it?
Looking forward to hearing from you. I’m really excited about this!
Best,
Danny

Hi Frank,
Thanks so much for the details — I really appreciate you walking me through how this works. It sounds like a straightforward setup, and I’m genuinely excited about the possibility of having access to a physical ATM card linked to an online bank account. That’s actually kind of a smart move, especially for someone who's been managing finances on the go — like me, I’ve been juggling oil field settlements and a few side projects lately. I still remember the time I had to transfer funds from a remote lease site in Louisiana and ended up needing cash at the last minute. A card that works both for withdrawals and shopping would be a real game-changer.
Just to confirm: the ATM card will be delivered by DHL, correct? And once it arrives, I’ll receive a PIN via email or SMS, right? Also, is there a specific timeframe for when the delivery should happen — say, within a week of the funds being loaded? I’m wondering if there might be any delays depending on shipping zones or if it’s all handled automatically.
Also, do you know if there’s a monthly fee or any maintenance cost attached to the account? I’d hate to find out later that it’s not quite as free as it sounds.
Looking forward to your reply — I’ve got a few things I’d like to confirm before I take the next step.
Best,
Danny
