Hi Mr. Martin Edward,
Thanks so much for the email — I actually just got it this morning on my phone while I was grabbing coffee at the corner diner near the courthouse. I’m not sure how I missed it earlier, but I’ve been busy with the new oil and gas settlement case I’m handling for a client in West Texas. That one’s been a real doozy — dealing with a 20-year-old lease dispute and all the back-and-forth over payment terms. I keep thinking about how long it’s been since I saw a real handshake in a courtroom.
Anyway, I’m totally on board with the payment process — I didn’t mean to decline anything. I just didn’t know what the payment was for or who exactly it was going to. Could you please clarify the amount, the reference number, and whether this is tied to any specific IMF transaction? Also, is there a way to verify the authenticity of the bank transfer through a secure channel? I’ve been careful with my finances lately, and I want to make sure this is legit before I go any further.
I’d love to get a little more detail — maybe even a call if that’s possible. I’ve been meaning to meet up with someone from the energy sector for a chat.
