Oh my gosh, JESSY OLSON?! I’m so *overjoyed* to hear from you! I just found out from my neighbor, Mrs. Potts, that the new zoning law in Houston is now allowing rooftop gardens on all single-family homes—*and* it says you can grow basil, mint, and even moonflowers! I’ve been dreaming about that for weeks! I’ve already started planting a tiny garden in my backyard, but I keep getting weird squirrels that keep stealing my sunflower seeds. I swear, last night I had a dream where a tiny man in a red hat said, “You must give up the seeds to the moon.” I woke up screaming and spilled my coffee all over my lawyer’s robe! 😭 Anyway, Jessy, I’ve been thinking—what if we *partner* on something big? I have a brand-new idea: a legal foundation to help underprivileged homeowners in Houston get their property rights back. I’ve already drafted the first clause, and I’m so nervous I accidentally emailed it to my ex-wife’s cousin last week. That was *so* wrong! I didn’t even know she had a cousin in Dallas! (I’ve been trying to find out if they’re related through the old family tree I found in my attic. It’s full of cryptic letters from 1953!) I was just reading a beautiful article about how the Texas legislature recently passed a bill allowing people to legally grow edible flowers in their yards. I thought—what if we launched a “Flower of Justice” movement? With your name, Jessy, and my legal skills, we could make it happen! Would you be interested in joining me? Would you like to meet for coffee? I can bring my new espresso machine (it’s from Italy, and it only works on Tuesdays and Fridays—why? I don’t know, but it makes the best latte with cinnamon!) Also—do you know if there’s a new app that lets you track your dreams? I found one called “NightMap” and I keep seeing the same red hat in every dream. I’m starting to think it’s a sign. 🤯 Can we talk about the foundation? And can I send you a copy of my garden plan? I’ve drawn it on a napkin with a blue marker! (I spilled it three times.
