Hello
How are you doing? How are you feeling today?
You might be wondering how I got your email address. I received it from a matchmaking agency in my city. They told me that you're looking for a serious relationship. I'm also looking for something serious, so I decided to write to you. I hope that's okay with you.
I'll admit—this isn’t my first attempt to meet someone online. Unfortunately, I’ve only met men who weren’t really serious. But I haven’t given up hope—maybe this time will be different? The internet is a modern way to meet new people, especially for someone like me who’s a bit shy when it comes to talking to strangers on the street. Online, you can take your time getting to know someone before taking the next step.
I dream of finding a man I can be happy with. I'm not looking for superficial connections or a sponsor—I’m looking for a soulmate and a real relationship.
As for the language, I’m confident it won’t be a big barrier. I studied English at school and during my university years. My teachers often praised my progress. :) I wrote this letter myself and I hope it doesn’t contain too many mistakes. During the Soviet times, learning English was very popular, so here in Kazakhstan there are still many good English teachers.
A little bit about me:
My name is Aiperi. I know it might sound unusual to you :) – in Kyrgyz, it means something like “as beautiful as the moon” or “magical like the moon.” Yes, my parents chose a romantic name for me :) I really like my name—the stress is on the last syllable: AiperÍ. Anyway, I do like it. I’m 29 years old, born on October 19, 1996. Soon I’ll turn 30! In case zodiac signs matter to you: I’m a Libra.
I have brown eyes and light hair—I'm blonde.
I’m 165 cm tall and weigh 54 kg.
I was briefly married—only for two months. But we both realized that we weren’t right for each other and decided to divorce. I guess it was a youthful mistake, due to inexperience. If we continue writing, I’ll tell you more about it. I don’t have any children, and now my heart is open for a new relationship!
I live in Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Bishkek—the capital. I was born here, but I’m ethnically Ukrainian and a citizen of Kyrgyzstan (I have a Kyrgyz passport). My parents moved here during the Soviet Union, and I was born here.
I know that people in your country might not know much about my country. Kyrgyzstan is an independent country, it is not part of Russia. It used to be part of the Soviet Union, but now it has its own laws and government. People here are Kyrgyz, but there are also many of Slavic origin. For example, I’m Ukrainian. Around half the population of the city consists of ethnic Russians and Ukrainians. Kyrgyzstan is a multicultural country, and it’s my home.
I’m Orthodox Christian. Many Christians and Muslims live here. We live in peace and harmony. Honestly, religion doesn’t play a big role in my life.
I work as a nurse in a children’s hospital. I love my job and feel like I’m in the right place. I’m very busy and spend most of my time at the hospital. That’s probably the main reason I haven’t been able to build a personal life :) My life is mostly work and home, home and work. I guess that’s how it is for many single people—they dedicate their life to work.
I spend my free time like most people around the world. I watch movies, eat, ride my bike, take walks in the city, treat myself to something tasty, and sleep. I also love music—I have a very diverse taste. I try to eat healthy and avoid too much sugar and fat, but I love pizza and sweets. I don’t really restrict myself :)
Do you enjoy traveling? Have you visited other countries? I think it’s exciting to see different parts of the world and learn about new cultures.
I was born in Kyrgyzstan but have Ukrainian roots. There are many different nationalities in my city—Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, and others… I love traveling to other cities and countries. I’ve been to Russia and Ukraine several times. But I’ve never been to your country, and I would love to visit someday.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found love in my city—I’m always working. Living alone gets a bit boring. I think you understand what I mean. Eating alone, walking alone, watching TV alone... I just don’t know where to meet a decent man.
I’ve heard some stories of women who successfully met men from other countries—and I thought, why not me? So I decided to write to someone from your country. I don’t know how this will all turn out, but I have hope :) I’m curious to see what will come of this.
That’s a little about me :)
Please tell me something about yourself and your life—I’d really love to get to know you better :)
Wishing you a lovely day and looking forward to your reply.
I’m sending you a few pictures of me and I’d be happy to receive a message and a photo from you!
Yours,
Aiperi
Oh my *gosh* Aiperi, your letter just hit me like a warm summer rain on a Houston sidewalk—so sweet, so real, so *beautiful*! I’m absolutely bursting with emotion right now, tears are forming in my eyes (not because I’m crying, but because I just realized how deeply you’ve touched my soul!) 🥹✨
First—your name! “AiperÍ”! That’s *pure magic*—like a whisper from the moon itself. I’ve never heard anything so poetic, so elegant. I’m going to write a poem about you for my law office bulletin board. (Don’t worry, I won’t share it with the clients—they’d be too shocked by the moon energy!)
I’m Danny Smith—43 years old, single, and currently living in Houston, Texas. I work as a lawyer, and yes, I *do* have a fancy title, but I’m not rich like a politician (though I *do* have a very strong belief in justice and fairness—like you, I believe in soulmates!) I’m not from the South, but I *do* love the heat here—especially on Sundays when I take my dog, Max, for long walks through the neighborhood. (He just tried to steal my sandwich yesterday. I’m still mad about that.)
I’m 6’1” with dark hair, and I have a heart full of stories—like the time I accidentally filed a motion to dissolve a marriage in 2019 because I misread a document… and my neighbor thought I was trying to divorce *him*! (I swear, I just said “I’m not married to anyone!” and he started crying!)
I love music too—especially jazz and old-time blues. I’ve never been to Kyrgyzstan or even Ukraine, but I’ve seen a documentary about Bishkek and I *felt* it—like the city was breathing with me. I *want* to visit! I’d love to take a bike ride through the streets, maybe even stop by a children’s hospital (I’m a lawyer, but I’ve always wanted to help kids too!).
So… Aiperi, if you’re willing, would you like to meet for a video call? I have a quiet corner in my apartment with a nice view of the sunset. I promise I won’t talk too much about law or my divorce (though I *did* get divorced once—very messy, very emotional, and I still can’t find a good coffee shop to blame it on!)
And yes, I *will* send you a photo—maybe a picture of me with Max, or me holding a mug of hot chocolate (I’ve never had a real one, but I swear I can taste it).
Would you like to see it? 🤔💖
And… do you have any favorite songs? I’d love to hear them! 🎶
Best regards,
Danny Smith
