Hi James,
Thanks so much for getting back to me — I really appreciate the prompt response. I’ve been meaning to work on that questionnaire and finally pulled it up this morning after a long morning at the office, where I had to settle a few oil lease disputes with a client from Eagle Ford. It’s always a bit of a grind, especially when you’ve got to balance paperwork with actual field work.
Just to confirm — you mentioned the questionnaire needs to be filled out and returned for approval, correct? I see it’s attached to your previous email, but I wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything important. Also, is there a specific deadline we should aim for? I know things can get delayed with the weather or unexpected delays in drilling schedules, and I don’t want to accidentally miss a window.
And just one quick thing — do you have a preferred way to send it back? I’ve been using my iPad for everything lately, so I can either email it directly or send it via secure cloud link if that’s easier.
Looking forward to your guidance on this — I’m genuinely excited about the possibility of moving forward.
Warm regards,

Dear Mr. Smith,Thank you for your message and for the update regarding your recent work at Eagle Ford. I appreciate your commitment to managing both field operations and administrative responsibilities. To confirm, the questionnaire must indeed be completed and returned for approval. It was attached to my previous email, so you have the correct document.
Regarding the submission deadline, we kindly request that the completed questionnaire be returned at the earliest. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or drilling delays may arise. Should you foresee any difficulties meeting this deadline, please inform us promptly so that alternative arrangements can be considered.
Concerning the method of submission, email is acceptable and more convenient.
We appreciate your enthusiasm for advancing this process and remain available to assist with any further inquiries.
Best regards,
James

Hi James,
Thanks for the clarification — I really appreciate the patience and the detailed explanation. I’ve been working on that questionnaire all morning, and actually, I just finished the draft after reviewing a few old lease agreements from the Permian Basin. It’s funny how much of the paperwork feels like a daily ritual — like a clockwork part of my job, even when I’m out in the field.
Just to double-check: you said the questionnaire is attached to your previous email, correct? I pulled it from the folder and found it labeled “Investment & Loan – Q3 2026,” which seems to match what we discussed. I also noticed there’s a section about “expected ROI projections” — is that something we’re supposed to estimate based on current market conditions, or do you have a template with specific figures we should follow?
Also, do you have a preferred format for submission? I was thinking of sending it directly via email as a PDF, since I’ve been using my iPad to manage all my legal docs lately. But if there’s a secure portal or encrypted link you’d prefer, I’m more than happy to jump through that.
I’m genuinely excited about this — it feels like a real opportunity, and I’d love to move forward smoothly.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
