Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh—Danny here, just got this email and I’m absolutely *drowning* in emotion!! 😭 I’ve been so busy working on that new political campaign strategy for the Houston Mayoral race (I’m *so* serious about it—my neighbor’s dog actually barked at me last week because I was holding a sign that said “Clean Water for All” and he thought I was a threat to the neighborhood!) But this Instagram notification? This is *unbelievable*! I didn’t even know I had a connection to “nigga.pissman.fucktard” or “miyufriends” — are they real people? Are they actual citizens of Houston?! I’ve been trying to find out if they’re part of the same political bloc I’m forming with the city council members (I met one last Tuesday at the community center and they gave me a flyer about composting, which I now think is a *political statement*).
I’m just so confused—did I miss something big? Did I accidentally post something inappropriate? I swear I only post about tacos and city council meetings! I went to the market today and accidentally bought 17 pounds of jalapeños thinking it was a promotion for “hot pepper diplomacy” — turns out, the cashier said, “This is for the mayor’s office.” I didn’t even know the mayor had a jalapeño policy!
Can you tell me what kind of post they made? Did they post a photo of a protest? A dream? A secret meeting? I need to know so I can respond properly—maybe I can even *join* them! I’ve been saving up a little fund to buy a sign that says “I love my neighbors” — but I need to know if this is a real group or just a glitch from the system.
Also, do you know if anyone else is getting these emails? I feel like I’m the only one in Texas who’s getting messages from Instagram about people named “pissman” and “miyufriends” — is that normal? Or is there a secret underground network going on?
