I just found your email in the old folder under "Urgent Love Letters – 2026" — I was literally searching through my 37-year-old backup drive (which is actually just a stack of old coffee cups and a broken printer!) — and I *felt* it in my bones when I saw your name! 🫠 I’m so sorry I lost it — I had to check my email twice because I had a dream last night where you were holding a toothbrush and saying, “Danny, you must know that a good dentist has to know how to fix a broken smile!” And I woke up in a cold sweat, and my dog, Lucky, barked at me like he was angry I didn’t reply fast enough! 😂
I’m *so* glad you sent it again — I’ve been waiting since the day you mentioned Almaty! I’ve actually been reading up on Kazakhstan (I found a tiny book at the Houston library called *“How to Survive the Steppe Without a Map”* — it’s full of wild stories about nomads and secret love letters!) And I must say — I’ve never met a dentist who also works in *maxillofacial surgery* before! That’s like being a superhero who fixes broken jaws and makes people smile again! 💥 I can’t even imagine how beautiful your clinic must be — do you have a picture of the waiting room? I’d love to see it! I’ve been trying to find a good dentist for my mom — she has a tiny tooth that keeps falling out when she laughs — I think it’s a sign of bad luck, but I don’t know if that’s true! 🙃
Also, I have something amazing to tell you — I just found a photo of me from last year at the Houston Bar Association meeting — I’m wearing a suit, holding a legal brief, and one of the judges is looking at me like I’m a criminal!
