Hi Katya, Thanks so much for the message — I’m actually really glad you reached out! It’s been a while since I’ve had a real chat like this, and I’m always up for getting to know someone new. I’m Danny, and I live in Houston, Texas. I’m 43 years old, and I’ve been practicing oil-and-gas litigation for over 15 years. Honestly, it’s a tough field, but I love the work — especially the part where you have to read the contract like a detective and figure out who actually signed it. I’ve had a few wild cases — once, a well drilled in the Permian had a title dispute that went all the way to the state supreme court. It was messy, but also kind of fascinating. I’ve been meaning to go hiking in the Hill Country this fall, but with the heat and the long days, it’s been tough to plan. I guess that’s part of the boomer lifestyle — you just keep going, even when you’re tired. I’d love to hear more about you — where are you from? What do you do for a living? I’m curious if you’ve ever worked in energy too — that’s something I’ve always wanted to know. Also, if you’re open to it, maybe we could have a coffee chat sometime? I’ve got a local place called “The Lone Star” — it’s a little dive bar with a great coffee machine. Looking forward to learning more about your life. Hello, my new friend Danny! I am very glad to see your photos, thank you dear. It's a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to write to me. I'm always open to interesting conversations and I hope something special can happen between us. My name is Ekaterina, I am 39 years old. Now I live in Tbilisi, the capital of beautiful Georgia, with my mother. In life, I am active, friendly, and I try to see the good even in difficult moments. I work in the office of a private logistics company that organizes cargo transportation and document management. Work requires attention and responsibility, but I like that every day is different from the previous one. My schedule is from 8:00 to 20:00, six days a week, so I have free evenings and weekends for relaxation and personal life. I spend my free time actively: I like walking, especially in parks and outdoors, and I go to the gym about three times a week to keep fit and just feel energetic. My training days are usually Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It's already become a part of my lifestyle. I was previously married, my husband and I lived in Bulgaria for 7 years. Our marriage couldn't stand the difference in goals and outlook on life. Over time, we began to move away from each other. He wanted peace and routine, and I was striving for development, moving forward. We parted peacefully, without any scandals, we just realized that we were going our separate ways. Now I feel that I am ready for a new stage of acquaintance, trust, warmth. I'm interested to know more about you — where do you live, what do you live in, what is close to you? Please send a couple of your photos! It will be a pleasure to see you! I also sent you my photos and tried to choose the ones that reflect the real me. How do you like them? Did you like it? I'll leave it at that so as not to bore you with a long text. But I will be happy to wait for your answer! Your new friend Katya

Hi Katya — thanks so much for the thoughtful email, and for sharing all of that about yourself. It really helps to know someone’s background, especially the kind of life they’ve lived and the choices they’ve made. I can feel the sincerity in your words — that’s something rare these days. I’m Danny, and I live in Houston, Texas — actually, I’ve been here for over 20 years now. I work as a litigation lawyer, specializing in oil and gas cases, so I spend a lot of time in courtrooms and on the phones with clients. It’s a demanding job, but I like the way it keeps me sharp and grounded. I’ve got a small apartment above a garage, not much space, but it’s got a great view of the skyline, especially in the evening. I walk my dog, a little golden retriever named Milo, every morning before work — he’s actually the one who keeps me from getting too stressed. You mentioned you work in logistics — that’s fascinating. I’m guessing the energy and movement of that kind of job must be exciting. I’d love to know more about your days — do you ever get to travel with shipments? Or do you mostly stay in the office? And how do you unwind on weekends — besides walking and the gym? Also — I saw your photos, and honestly, they’re lovely. The one with the park and the sunset in Georgia — it’s just so peaceful. I’ll send you a few of mine soon, maybe one of us at the park? I’ve been trying to find a spot near the river, where I can just sit and watch the water. Looking forward to hearing back — and to maybe meeting in spirit, at least! Hello, my dear Danny! I am very happy to receive beautiful photos,) thank you dear. I hope you're okay. I have a light, warm mood today, just the kind when I especially want to share it with someone close to me. And to be honest, I was looking forward to writing to you again. For me, each of your letters is like a ray of light in the daily hustle and bustle. It makes me smile, reflect, and feel that something real is gradually growing between us. I really like the way we communicate — without pressure, without masks, with sincere interest in each other. And I'm not afraid to admit it: there is already a hope in my heart that this can grow into something more. Time will tell, of course… But my heart is already whispering that it's possible. And you? Are you waiting for my letters? How do you feel reading them? I'm really interested, not just out of curiosity, but because I care about your thoughts and feelings. I really liked your story about life in Houston. The profession of a legal lawyer in the oil and gas industry sounds incredibly serious and respectful! I can imagine how much effort, attention and internal discipline such work requires. It's great that she helps you stay fit and keeps you focused. And your little corner above the garage with a view of the evening city... It sounds so romantic and private! I think it's a real pleasure to look at the lights of the evening skyline from there after a hard day in court. And separately, I'm just fascinated by Milo! Golden Retrievers are incredible dogs, so kind and loyal. I really understand you: morning walks with a pet really set the right mindset and help you leave all the fuss behind. Give this fluffy ponytail my warmest regards! About my work and my days off You asked about my work in logistics — thank you for your interest, it's very nice! How are my days going?: In fact, I work mostly from the office. My task is to manage processes and coordinate supply chains so that all documents, routes and deadlines converge perfectly. There's really a lot of dynamics and movement in this business, even though I don't travel with loads myself. But I like this rhythm — it gives me a sense of control and movement forward. You already know about my walks and the gym (fitness is my love, I try to practice consistently three times a week, it gives excellent relaxation!). But besides that, I really like to spend time at home cooking. It's a kind of meditation for me. I love Italian cuisine: I am very happy to cook homemade pasta bolognese, fragrant pizza and, of course, the most delicate tiramisu for dessert. I also really like listening to audiobooks — they allow you to immerse yourself in completely different worlds when your hands are busy and your soul is asking for stories. I'm an adult woman, and looking at my photos, you can see a part of my life. I don't like excessive makeup — naturalness is closer to me. But sometimes I want to feel special, beautiful, desirable — and then I put on something bright, go on a date with myself, or just smile at my reflection. I try to take care of myself: I eat right, go to the gym, and I like to swim. Yes, I get tired sometimes — work, responsibility, everyday life… But I try not to lose myself, not to lose the joy inside. My friends and colleagues say that I am open-minded, kind, and easygoing. They say it's easy to talk to me, and I'm glad of that. But, you know... it's time to get out of this rut a little bit. It's time to let more peace and quiet into your life... and maybe someone who will be warm not only next to you, but also in your soul. I dream of true love—not a fairy tale, but a deep, warm bond. About long conversations by the window with a cup of tea, about walks under the stars, about looks that speak more than words. About a person with whom you can be silent — and at the same time feel that everything is clear without words. I want to be loved—and I want to really love myself, with all my soul. And, the strange thing is… for some reason, it seems to me that you could be the one with whom this is possible. That there might be something real between us. What do you think about it? What do you dream about? What is important to you — in life, in relationships, in love? I believe that time does not stand still, and we should not be afraid to take steps towards our dreams. Travel, learn new things, discover yourself in new roles… I've decided that I want to be truly happy. Not "someday," but now. And I believe it's possible. I'm attaching some new photos — simple, everyday ones. It's me: at work, in the gym, in a moment of relaxation. I hope you like them. And please tell me what you think — your opinion is important to me. And also... I'd really like to see you. Not idealized, not edited, but real. If you want, send your photos. I'll be happy to take a look. That's all for now. But I will definitely write again, because it's so nice to share my thoughts with you. With warmth and hope, Katya

Hi Katya, Thank you so much for the sweet message — I actually just finished a long case this morning, and that little moment of quiet reflection over the city lights from my garage gave me the perfect pause to reply. It really does feel like we’re building something real, and I’ve been thinking about how lucky I am to have someone like you who sees beyond the surface. I’m based in Houston, Texas — just outside the city limits, near the old oil fields. My apartment is actually on the third floor of a converted warehouse, and the view from my balcony? Honestly, it’s a bit of a mess with a few oil rigs in the distance and a few pigeons that try to claim it as their own. But I love it. There’s something grounding about the rhythm of the city, especially after a long day in court. You mentioned your Italian cooking — that really hits home. I once had a client who brought me a bottle of homemade bolognese after a hearing, and I still have it in my office drawer. I think I’ll have to try your tiramisu soon — maybe even cook it with a little help from Milo. (He’s a bit of a drama queen, but he does bring me joy every morning.) So, to follow up: 1. Do you have a favorite time of day to cook or listen to audiobooks? 2. How do you usually end your evenings — any ritual, like a walk or quiet time? 3. Would you be open to sharing one of your favorite photos from your home or garden? I’d love to see more of your space. Sending warm vibes your way, Danny Sent from my iPad Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
