Dear Mr. Smith, Thank you for your forthrightness in your response. Anything that will help to start this business partnership, please share them with me and I will have that discussed with my client for her decision. I will be waiting to hear from you and then we can schedule a call tomorrow. Regards, Gerd Loffler

Hi Gerd, Thanks so much for the prompt reply — I really appreciate that. I’ve been thinking about how we can move this forward, and I just wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything important. Last night while I was walking my dog through the Houston neighborhood near the Houston Ship Channel, I noticed a few old oil rigs still standing with their warning signs up — like the ones from the ’80s. It made me think about how much the energy sector has changed, and how much potential there still is in the kind of cross-border investment you’re proposing. I’m genuinely excited about this possibility. Just to confirm: are we still looking at a joint venture structure where your client would have a stake in the project, and I’d handle the legal due diligence and regulatory filings? And do you have a preferred time tomorrow for the call? I’m free from 9 to 11 a.m. or 2 to 4 p.m. Houston time. Also, if there’s a specific document or agreement we need to review before the call — like a term sheet or investment outline — could you send it over? I’d love to go over it in detail. Looking forward to connecting soon. Best regards, Danny Smith Legal Counsel | Oil & Gas Practice Sent from my iPhone Best regards, Danny Smith +17163259415
